The town “Reischach” in the Puster Valley
The town got its name from the castle “Rischon” and in 1020 was the first time when Reischach was called a town. The noble people lived for about 400 years inside the castle. Reischach’s
location is about 900 m (approx. 2 km) above the city Bruneck and directly next to the ski lifts to the ski resort Kronplatz.
The panorama view is not only beautiful in the wintertime; also in summer time it’s wonderful to see the “Zillertaler Alps”, the “Riesenferner”, and the “Dolomites”. And not just to see them, also to climb and hike. The lifts at Kronplatz are also running in summer, so you can use them to get to the top of the mountain and just to enjoy a great time.
